"Balança"

Coloca a tua vida
num prato da balança - a tua vida
inteira, não hesites:
cada sonho da infância;
cada desejo ou cada angústia
desse longo e tão mudo purgatório
a que chamaste adolescência;
cada ambição funesta ou virtuosa
que já realizaste ou se perdeu
desde o dia em que alguém te considerou
um adulto sereno, responsável;
e todos os prazeres, todas as alegrias,
todos os medos, todas as esperanças
onde quiseste ver reflectida
a beleza do mundo.

Do outro lado põe apenas
o rosto de quem amas:
os olhos, o sorriso, o tom da voz,
nada mais do que isso.

Depois não tenhas medo:
destrava num só gesto essa balança
e vê o resultado.

Poema de Fernando Pinto do Amaral in "Egoista" nº 15 Maio 2003

Quando menos a gente espera...

mais gente espera por nós...
E quando te sentires sozinho,
fala contigo,
pois estarás sempre a teu lado
e saberás guiar-te, de olhos vendados e sem medo,
nesse labirinto que pensas ser a tua vida,
mas que és...
apenas tu..

Não vejas o "sinal"...Sente-o em ti...

Porque somos o lado "B", na vida de alguém...

Older Chests

Older chests reveal themselves
Like a crack in a wall
Starting small, and grow in time
And we always seem to need the help
Of someone else
To mend that shelf
Too many books
Read me your favourite line

Papa went to other lands
And he found someone who understands
The ticking, and the western man's need to cry
He came back the other day, you know
Some things in life may change
And some things
They stay the same

Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time

Older gents sit on the fence
With their cap in hand
Looking grand
They watch their city change
Children scream, or so it seems,
Louder than before
Out of doors, and into stores with bigger names
Mama tried to wash their faces
But these kids they lost their graces
And daddy lost at the races too many times

She broke down the other day, yeah you know
Some things in life may change
But some things they stay the same

Like time, there's always time
On my mind
So pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
Time, there's always time
On my mind
Pass me by, I'll be fine
Just give me time
